We are assembling a choir for the Christmas Eve service to be held at Lions Village in the Spankie Room (Rm. #106) at 7 p.m. Are you interested?

The choir will be singing the following carols. If you know the harmony parts that is a bonus. Children are welcome to sing too and will most likely sing melody.
 
The two choir carols will be:

• “O Come all ye Faithful” CCS #431
• “Silent Night” CCS #421

 
Choir members will be requested to attend a very short rehearsal with Bill Tompkins this Communion Sunday, December 2 following the 11 a.m. service.

If you cannot attend this rehearsal and wish to sing please advise Shirley Smith and we will arrange a future final rehearsal time for all.

We hope you will join us for 10 a.m. Coffee & Conversation followed by the 11 a.m. Worship Service.

Lions Village invited our congregation to participate in a bake sale at the Lions' facility. Any sales proceeds would be ours to use as we saw fit. At our Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018 AGM, our congregation decided these funds would be best suited to support our youth camping programs.

Final proceeds of bake sale resulted in $421.55 for the camping program. Well done!

Special thanks to all those who participated in the bake sale through baking and/or staffing the table during the event. 

Calgary Community of Christ will be hosting its third annual Christmas dinner at Lions Village in Calgary. We'll enjoy wonderful food, Christmas music, and a Christmas carol sing-a-long after dinner...all while sharing in the blessings of community. Please plan to join us! 

Due to spatial constraints, we are limited to 30 tickets. These tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis by clicking the 'Attend Event' button below. Please indicate how many tickets you will require when you RSVP.

​The Calgary Communication Team is changing the way it does its weekly emails. In order to increase efficiency and consistency, an automated email will be automatically generated each Thursday evening at 8 p.m. that will include all posts made to the Calgary Congregation's website from the last seven days.

In the past, all updates were manually posted to the website as well as in the weekly email digest. This new change will ensure that all content is consistent across all of our communication channels.
