The Resolution on Nonviolence has been selected by the First Presidency for consideration at the 2019 World Conference using the first part of the common consent process. This means that delegates will spend additional time listening to one another and surveying.
To help us prepare for that activity, we need your help identifying the perspectives on this resolution within the church. Please share your perspective with us. This survey closes 10 September 2018

This past Sunday, our congregation experienced the beautiful Sacrament of the Blessing of Children. Avery Leigh Gorman and Griffin Daniel Gorman were both blessed while surrounded by family and the congregation. Each also received a lovely prayer shawl made by friends of the church.
When families bring their babies to be blessed by the elders, they are responding to God’s grace by choosing to raise their child in God’s loving community and promising to provide guidance and nurture throughout the child’s lifetime. The congregation also commits to being a loving community in which the child can thrive and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
Join us THIS SUNDAY (June 17th) for a Father's Day Generation Now event at the Bow Habitat Station! This indoor/outdoor wildlife centre is all about wetland preservation and the cool animals that live there. We will be learning how to fish, about the unique role of wetlands in our environment and enjoying a potluck. There is NO SUNDAY SERVICE at Lion's Village that day. Everyone is invited to join us at Bow Habitat Station.
The day will start off with a fishing lesson at 11:00 where the kids will learn how to do a side cast at the outdoor fishing pond. There will also be an opportunity for the children to explore the discovery centre and see the trout hatchery up close. Parents and other adults can enjoy the outdoor park with picnic tables, easy walking paths and well shaded areas.
For hours, location, and other details...visit the Bow Habitat Station website.
Please bring: sun screen, bug repellent, outdoor appropriate clothing, a camping chair, an item for potluck and your sense of adventure!
