A Season of Generosity: New Materials for Congregations

During the 2019 World Conference, a concept called the Generosity Cycle was introduced. As a church, we celebrate various seasons throughout the year.  These seasons cause us to focus our gaze in a certain direction and spend time in meaningful reflection and preparation.

Between now and the end of November, you and your congregation are invited into a four-week season of generosity. Each week focuses on one phase of the Generosity Cycle:  Invite, Discover, Respond and Reflect. This is a period set aside to recognize the grace of God and to discover a deeper joy in discipleship through intentional whole-life stewardship.

New Disciples Generous Response materials and a short introduction video are available in the Worship Resources on the church’s website.

They reside in four specific worship outlines but can be used anytime. You can view them in the following worship suggestions.

• 10 November 
• 17 November
